Done!

Get your watering can ready because you’re about to grow your bank account balance like you’re going for the blue ribbon at the State Fair!  Because it’s going to get big!

All thanks to your new budgeting templates flying to your inbox in the next two minutes. But…

...if you have a piercing brain freeze from trying to organize your money, so it comes out even (and you haven't even had one sip of a blue raspberry Slurpee), then keep scrolling...

I know you’re worried, stressed that you won’t have enough money to cover all that your family needs.

You get the bills every month, they seem to be spawning too, and there always seems to be a surprise tucked in there for good measure. It’s the “You owe us $129 for your annual HOA water backflow testing”, and you’re like, WTH is water backflow testing?”

Why is this so hard? You know your family brings in decent money, but you wonder where does it go? Just know..

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Although I know it seems that way. No one really talks about their money situation and what they are struggling with. But you can absolutely be sure that this is on everyone’s mind! Everyone is thinking, “How do I make this work?”

We weren’t taught this in school. But I’m sure some personal finance classes would have been a lot more useful than a trigonometry class! Or even stupid geology class.

But we are asked to buy and pay for things multiple times a day and deal with monetary transactions that can impact us for decades. A lesson on how to understand your home loan would have been a lot more useful! But I digress.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if you didn't have to be worried about having enough money all the time?

No, you don’t need a wealthy Prince Charming to rescue you (your honey might object). But what you do need is your own fairy godmother (so to speak).

You need a system that makes it all go *POOF* no, not “poof” as in go away, but poof as in it’s all handled.  It’s all good as you have the money sitting aside, just for things like stupid water backflow testing AND for your kiddo’s soccer club fees, your car’s oil changes, and even money set aside for a weekend getaway trip you so desperately want!

As a mom who’s been through all the constant worrying, questioning, and self-doubt, I got you covered…

It’s The Better Budget. It’s not just a monthly budget; it’s a whole framework that goes beyond the budgeting piece. The system shows you how to set up your cash flow so that you have all of your bases covered all the time.

The Better Budget can do that for you!

Hi, I'm Kari -

I’m a Mama with a passion for helping women just like you discover the tools, and develop the skills needed to uncover your own path to providing a secure financial life for your family.

I think that budgeting is exciting!  It enables our family to do what’s most important to us.  By taking control of our finances, I decide (oh and my hubs too!) where are priorities are and we spend money in alignment with those goals.

We spend, we save, we are excited about our future!  It’s time for you to feel the same way.

Frequently Asked Questions

No software is needed (other than a calculator). I will suggest that you set up a few more checking accounts, but you can find fee-free accounts easily. You will also need to have access to a printer (or send your printable templates to a print store).

You’ll still need to save your money, and the pace is different for every family. The system isn’t an instant “afford everything” magic pill. It will take saying no to some things so that you can say yes to other more important things. Discipline is still needed. But your savings will be clearly defined and never get borrowed to pay for other unexpected things. (Yup, I know all about using your vacation money to pay for a new washing machine).

This is more than a budgeting method, but that’s half of the puzzle. The other half is how you set up your money flow, as you need to be strategic with it. You can’t just wing it and hope for the best. Most budgeting methods are just a template, which is fine, but it’s not enough for most families needs.

I know you’re tired –

Tired of trying one budgeting method after another without seeing your bank balance grow, and you’re still just as stressed as before. It’s frustrating, and it’s disheartening.

But let me tell you, I’ve been budgeting this way for 6+ years, and my family has never wanted for anything. We’ve even taken four trips to Disney World since 2013, (each paid for before we stepped one foot on that plane), and we don’t make a lot of money either.

We’re regular earners, we are just careful with what we spend (but we’re not frugalists), and we have a system that works seamlessly. And that system is what I want to share with you.

So if that sounds good to you, let's get going.
